| Scott Purslow has been teaching drums
for over 20 years to students of all styles and levels. With a degree in liberal arts
and over 50 musical theater productions playing the drums and small percussion or
guitar including a week at the Wang center in Boston. Books for potential students
include the Roy Burns elementary drum method and selections from the Hal Leonard
music book series. Scott plays drums in a rush and van halen tribute band, singing
lead in the rush band and also playing drums and singing lead vocals in his band of
15 years, Pitch Black. He recommends 30 minutes practice per day, 3-4 days a week.
