| HISTORY: Since 1988, Stoughton Music Center has been offering quality music lessons at affordable rates for students of all ages and levels. We now employ 16 highly qualified, friendly and patient music teachers. Our teaching philosophy is to make learning a musical instrument a fun and enjoyable experience. Stoughton Music School teaches over 300 students weekly. |
| LESSON RATES: ALL MUSIC LESSONS ARE PAID MONTHLY. Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums & Percussion, Brass & Woodwinds:

| CANCELLATIONS: Stoughton Music Center requires a one day advance notice if a student is not able to attend their scheduled lesson. Sick cancellations must be left on the store’s answering machine prior to the store’s opening. In the event of a teacher’s absence, Stoughton Music Center will contact the student and arrange a makeup lesson at a future date. |
| MAKEUP LESSONS: Stoughton Music Center will provide a makeup lesson only if the cancellation requirements are met. All monthly balances must be paid in full in order to schedule any make-up lessons. Cancelled scheduled make-up lessons will result in the loss of the lesson and will not be rescheduled. We will allow up to 4 make-up lessons per year per student. Our lesson year runs September 1 to August 31. Make-up lessons owed are void once the student is removed from our schedule or the end of our lesson year is reached. |
| SCHOOL VACATIONS: Stoughton Music Center teaches lessons on all school vacations on our regular schedule and regular policy applies. |
| JULY and AUGUST: Stoughton Music Center teaches lessons all year long. Enrolled students are required to pay for the full month of June. Students who take lessons in July and August are not required to pay for lessons if they are on vacation. Please give advance notice. |
| HOLIDAYS: There are no lessons on the following holidays: NEW YEARS DAY, MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, PRESIDENTS DAY, MEMORIAL DAY, INDEPENDENCE DAY, LABOR DAY, COLUMBUS DAY, HALLOWEEN NIGHT, VETERANS DAY, THANKSGIVING EVE, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS DAY and NEW YEARS EVE. |
| WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: In the event of a snowstorm, call Stoughton Music Center to see if we are still having lessons. If Stoughton Music Center remains open, regular policy applies. If we cancel lessons due to a snowstorm, we will leave a message on the store's answering machine. |
| RECITALS: Stoughton Music Center holds annual student recitals in late June. Participation is optional for our students, but highly recommended by our teachers. |
Upon enrollment and receipt of this lesson policy, the student agrees to the above terms.
