![]() Robert Tarchara began studying and playing guitar at age seven and has been playing professionally since age nineteen. His professional experience has included Jazz, Classical and Pop music. Mr. Tarchara graduated from Berklee College of Music (Boston, Ma.) in 1985. His private guitar instructors have included Guitar Foundation of America winner Peter Clemente (Classical guitar) and national recording jazz fusion artist Randy Roos (Electric Guitar). In 1988 he founded Stoughton Music Center, a music school and retail music store in Stoughton, Massachusetts. In 1994 Robert began writing and arranging guitar books for publisher Minstrel Press (Waukesha, Wi.). He is the author of the highly successful guitar instruction course "The Easiest Way to Learn Guitar." Today Robert's guitar method is used with over 200 weekly guitar students at his music school In 1997 Mr. Tarchara began arranging classical guitar transcriptions for Santorella Publications (Danvers, Ma.), where he arranged the well respected books: Joplin's Greatest Rags and Exceptional Classics for Flute and Guitar. To date he has over twenty five books and arrangements published and sold throughout the world. Today Robert Tarchara runs the day to day operation of Stoughton Music Center, continues to write and arrange guitar music and he performs as a Classical Guitar soloist and in a Flute and Guitar duo and Jazz quartet with highly acclaimed Flutist Steve Tapper.
