Mario Rosario

Violin, Voice, Piano, Guitar, Bass

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Mario Rosario to our teaching team! Mario graduated from Westfield State College in 1991 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. He graduated Magna cum Laude, was on the Dean’s List, and received the Music Educator’s Achievement Award. He has been teaching chorus, orchestra, and music technology at Masconomet Middle School in Boxford, MA since 1997. Mario also teaches piano, guitar, voice, violin, and bass at Horrigan Music School, a position he has held since 2002. He has performed with the Boston Symphony, the Springfield Symphony, and the Atlanta Symphony under the batons of Seiji Ozawa, James Levine, Raymond Harvey, and Raphael Bundage. He has also performed at Carnegie Hall in 1993 and 2003 with the Westfield College Chorale. Mario is a composer of five Masses, ten motets, six symphonies, four string quartets, three piano sonatas, a piano concerto, a Te Deum, a Requiem, a Pater Noster, and over 100 songs, with some of these works published through AlphaBooks. His past professional memberships include MENC, MMEA, and ACDA. In his free time, Mario enjoys going to the gym and staying healthy. He is happily married to his wife, Ebonie, and raising their two children.
