Our Story

Stoughton Music Center was founded in November 1988 by Stoughton High School (class of 1983) and Berklee College of Music graduate Robert Tarchara.

A Local Staple

Robert's mother Rosalie was a music teacher in the Stoughton Public School system for over 25 years.

Tarchara's parents started an antique business in Stoughton in 1963, making the Tarchara name part of Stoughton's retail community for over 60 years!
